I love weddings, as you already know, but I love vintage weddings. When I get married, I want a vintage look with a few modern touches. Books, lace and teacups are my all-time favorite things and I want to incorporate those into my wedding designs.
Vintage weddings ideas are not hard to find (especially with Pinterest) and they can be overwhelming! Here are some of my favorite vintage design options.
As I mentioned before teacups are huge vintage design item and they should at least be somewhere in your design if you are doing vintage. One of the things I love making are candles and I want to make some teacup candle favors for all our guests. How cute would that be?

Small little design items like pearls, lace linens are another option to make your wedding a little bit more vintage. Spruce on the back of chairs could “spruce” up your wedding but add a lovely vintage touch.
LACE! Seriously, everything lace is ideal!
One big vintage piece I am making is a vintage book runner. Find some books from a thrift store and tear out the pages (I know…its tragic) and then glue them together in a runner type fashion. I did this once for an open house and loved the outcome.

Even in your bridal gown you can be vintage. Brides of 1920’s wore more of the T-length gowns. Champagne colored bridal gowns were always the hot favorite. Veils used to be longer, trailing down to the floor. And a red lipstick to do the final touch.
A few more old books and frames stacked against each other can be affordable and cute centerpiece. It would also be cute to stack books, two frames and a teapot filled with flowers to make the design even more vintage.

My ultimate favorite vintage favor are keys. You can go to a key shop, find them online or looking on etsy. You can use they keys attached to coffee stained papers and use them as favors or place settings. Now, one favorite I’ve seen at two friends’ weddings (neither were vintage themed) were a hand-painted floral wedding and it also works great in a more rustic setting!
